30 dumbbell snatches

40 dumbbell snatches

50 dumbbell snatches
15 burpee box jump-overs
Men use 50-lb. dumbbell and 24-in. box
Women use 35-lb. dumbbell and 20-in. box

Small request: maybe we could extend open gym a few minutes this weekend? Looks like there’s a dearth of boxes for 17.1 and some unnamed people (moi) couldn’t stick around past the hour because of certain circus commitments 🙂

– every box jump was super painful for my foot so those took an eternity / snatches otherwise were ok but just had to keep moving

Snatches felt ok. Pretty much had to break them up in sets of 10-15. Legs were gone in the end. As always, burpees (in any variation) killed me. I always let them get to me. I need to get better fighting through them. Feet were like lead weights in the first few jump overs. But all in all, felt good.

I hate to admit it but all the running I had to do in this past 8 months actually helped a lot with the burpees. My messed up shoulder prevented me from going Rx, but in the end, I am happy with my result.
