Team Series Workout 5

Complete as many reps as possible in 10 minutes of:
3 synchronized burpee box jump-overs
3 synchronized deadlifts
6 synchronized burpee box jump-overs
6 synchronized deadlifts
9 synchronized burpee box jump-overs
9 synchronized deadlifts
Etc., adding 3 reps to each exercise every round.

Use a 24/20-in. box, 225/155-lb. deadlift

    Good luck today everybody! This one is going to be super gross, and I know I’m not going to be doing anything after except catching my breath and trying to remember what day it is. For those of you out there thinking “10 minutes? That’s not a long enough workout,” I suggest 3 rounds of 30 squats, 30 lunges, and 30 sit-ups to scratch the itch. As always, you are welcome and encouraged to pursue your own bodyweight/dumbbell accessory work on the margins of classtime.

    So we walk in at 6am and see that Matt and Mickey decided to change the workout.
    There was outrage( ????) so we took a vote and the blog won. You’re welcome guys!

      I don’t know if it was so much an outrage as there was a lot of confusion. For me personally, I’ve wodded 7 days in a row I think, and only came in because I promised Joe that I would do the MU wod with him (and take a rest day tomorrow). So I left after the vote. I’m 40, not 27, so gotta listen to the body when it needs a rest.

      The case for event 6 was mucho deadlifts on Tuesday + mucho deadlifts on Thursday = mucho paino. I should’ve programmed #6, but the people wanted #5! Democracy gets a rare win 🙂 Vote dumbbells.

    *I was going to do snatches but my back felt wonky. The lunges were still pretty spicy.

    102 @ 225 solo. started synced with Richie/Efrain but slowed down on the rd of 12&15burpees. caught up on deads. no more light deads for the next few weeks. spinal.
